A New Competition Name for a New Competition Season: Basketball Club ‘Bosna Royal Jelly’
At a press conference held on 14 September 2016 the basketball club Bosna presented its new sponsor Bosnalijek. On this occasion the club’s Manager, Damir Krupalija, stressed that Bosnalijek is a very important reinforcement for the basketball club. In recognition of this the Bosnalijek brand Royal Jelly will be included as part of the Club’s competition name for the upcoming season.
Jasmina Korda, the Bosnalijek spokesperson at the press conference, stated, "Bosnalijek is a socially responsible company and we have always supported basketball as a sport. After sponsoring the golden National Cadet Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we decided to support the basketball club Bosna. We hope for long and successful cooperation.”
The club’s Manager thanked Bosnalijek once again at the end of the press conference, "I hope for a successful cooperation and that we will prove worthy of the trust placed in us.”
In line with its mission and strategic focus on socially responsible business operations, Bosnalijek has and will continue to support numerous projects and events in sport, healthcare, culture, science and education.
The support given to the basketball club Bosna is a continuation of Bosnalijek’s support for the development of basketball in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company provided urgently needed support to the junior national basketball team and its participation in the European Championship and supported the organisation of a street basketball competition for youths, the Bosnalijek Cup, in thirty cities and towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the Youth Sports Games in 2016.
